The Turquoise Waters of the Maldives

4 Days from Delhi or Mumbai

It’s a rare traveller who can look at pictures of Maldives’ gorgeous waters, blue skies, and dreamy resorts and not want to hop on a jet and go there. So we’ll forgo ladling on the travelprose, present some evidentiary pictures, and tell you why those islands are a superb extension to a journey in Micato’s India:

The islands are a long way from just about anywhere but India (and, to be fair, Sri Lanka). So we can easily hop you on a plane after your Indian journey and get you to them in a relatively quick hurry…. Picking the right resort—there are many—takes more than a little sleuthing and, frankly, luck. We’ve carefully chosen one of the dreamiest, Soneva Jani…. Since this is a Micato trip, if something goes amiss, you won’t have to wait on hold for a third-party vendor to (perhaps) respond. We have your back the whole way, start to finish.

Itinerary

DAY 1 After flying from Delhi or Mumbai you’ll be transferred by seaplane to one of the Maldives’ most delightfully isolated (and sustainability-minded) resorts, Soneva Jani, nestled in the waters of the Noonu Atoll. Your one-bedroom Water Reserve, spread across two floors, comes with a private pool and sunbathing area, a winsome slide for plopping into the warm clear water, and a retractable roof that showcases some of the planet’s sparkliest stars.

DAYS 2 & 3 Your days are blissfully unscheduled—with a Soneva Jani concierge to suggest and arrange a host of marine excursions and explorations or just to make sure your relaxation is maximal. And, of course, a couple of signature Micato experiences: a floating champagne breakfast and a sunset dolphin cruise.
