Guaranteed Departure Classic Safaris?

You might wonder: We operate ten small-group Classic Safaris in East and Southern Africa. Each has an average of 40 annual–and guaranteed–departures, listed by date in our brochure and on this website. Does that mean that if you, or just you and a companion, sign up for, let’s say, a late May, early June Micato Grand Safari, or a mid-October edition of Jewels of Southern Africa it will happily happen even if you are the only participant(s). Yes, it means just that. Guaranteed.

Unlike many travel companies, we don’t wait for a safari to “fill up,” or reach a threshold number for it to launch. You needn’t worry about a letter or email that says sorry, your trip has been cancelled because not enough people booked. We don’t have a script for those apologetic notices because we have never, in our six decades of showcasing our African homeland, cancelled a Classic Safari for lack of more than even one single, lucky participant.

And, as we modestly point out throughout this site, you are not only guaranteed to depart, you’re guaranteed the services of one of our crack Safari Directors, who accompanies every safari from airport arrival to fond farewells, and the support of our 24-hour Concierge Team and large in-country and international staffs, and all the individual attention and care that has made Micato, as Forbes says, “The Rolls-Royce of the safari world.”
