A white lion with entourage in tow marches through Kruger National Park while 2,200 miles north, albeit not at the same time, other lions stretch their legs in the Maasai Mara.

Within the intervening miles as well as the vast spaces beyond, elephants, zebra, wildebeest, leopards, giraffes, rhinos, all manner of birds and many other creatures immense and less-so do what they always do.
