The 8-day journey includes:

Day 1. Nairobi, Norfolk Hotel.

Day 2. Afternoon in Eldoret, Great Rift Valley. Dinner hosted by 2-time Olympic Champion Kipchoge Keino.

Day 3. Run with local Olympians Patrick Sang, 3-time Olympic World-champion silver medalist, Steeplechase. Visit Kipchoge Keino’s International Olympic Committee Training Camp. Drive to Kaptagat, site of Nike, Fila, and Adidas-sponsored training camps. Join camp athletes for 7-mile run to picturesque Kaptarakwa.

Day 4. Drive to Iten. Visit Iten High Altitude Training Centre, developed by New York City Marathon winner Lornah Kiplagat to train female runners. Afternoon run with athletes from St. Patrick’s High School, alma mater of more world-class runners than any educational institution in the world. Dinner with elite runners at Kerio view, a private lodge built by a Belgian industrialist and running enthusiast.

Day 5. Drive to Kapsait. Visit Fila’s newly-built marathon training camp. Join athletes for mid-morning run, then lunch. Visit childhood home of Tegla Loroupe, first African woman to win the New York City Marathon.

Day 6. Travel to Kapsabet. Visit childhood homes of Kipchoge Keino and other record-breaking runners.

Day 7. Kapsabet. Morning run through tea fields. Depart for Nairobi.

Day 8. Nairobi, Norfolk Hotel.
